Susie Steinborn attended Western Illinois University. She was a Sigma Sigma Sigma. She went to work for Sigma Alpha Epsilon at our National Office in Evanston, Illinois. She urged SAE to establish a colony at WIU.

The colony will be named Illinois Sigma Sigma after Susie Steinborn.

Brad Kloha comes to WIU and tables for three days. Will Foran, WIU Director of Greek Life, urges Jimmy to talk to Brad at the table in the Union. Jimmy, completely unimpressed with Greek Life, goes to speak to Brad to be polite. Brad invites Jimmy to one of the informational meetings held in the Algonquin Room after speaking together at the information table. Jimmy is impressed with Brad and the True Gentleman Creed.
On the way to the informational meeting, Jimmy runs into John Johnson and tells him about SAE. He hands him a card with the True Gentleman Creed on it. Jimmy attends the informational and is the only one at the meeting with Brad.
Jimmy decides this is something he believes in. SAE seems to be a return to what fraternity is suppose to be. He takes on the task of creating a brotherhood that will shake up Greek Life at WIU.
—— Side Notes——
Jimmy knows Dan Maxwell. Dan left WIU the previous year for an opportunity at UIPUI. Dan was the WIU Director of Student Activities until he left. Jimmy learns that Dan was the one that suggested Will Foran speak with Jimmy. Jimmy had remained in contact with Dan and respects him very much. Jimmy finds out that Dan Maxwell is an SAE.
Jimmy has a meeting with Al Goldfarb, WIU President, after Brad’s visit. He tells Goldfarb about his intent to establish SAE on campus. Jimmy finds out Goldfarb’s son is an SAE at Millikin, and Goldfarb has a very positive opinion of the men.
